Santanu Chakraborty
Late Chairman Santanu Chakraborty was a stalwart in the pharmaceutical industry, boasting over 30 years of experience and having risen to the position of National Head of Sales at one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical multinational corporation. Renowned for his charismatic leadership and exceptional talent, he was known for his hands-on approach—actively engaging at the ground level and earning the admiration of everyone he worked with. Even as he excelled in a top MNC, his vision to create a company where every employee felt like part of a family led him to found his own organization. Internally, he cherished and promoted the concept of the ‘Asprant Family,’ ensuring that every individual was valued and respected. Moreover, his deep commitment to social responsibility was reflected in his steadfast advocacy for CSR activities, aiming to create a positive impact on society while growing the organization.
Despite a relatively short life marked by his courageous fight against cancer he achieved an extraordinary legacy that shall continue to inspire our organisation forever.
A dynamic leader with a diverse background that uniquely bridges law, corporate strategy, and pharmaceutical management, Suvam Chakraborty began his career practicing corporate law at an international firm after graduating from one of India’s top deemed universities for law. Later, serving as in-house counsel, he honed his skills in legal strategy and business operations. Recognizing the evolving demands of the global pharmaceutical sector, he pursued an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, acquiring in-depth expertise in pharmaceutical marketing, production management, and other disciplines crucial for a senior management role.
Demonstrating exceptional capabilities early on, he became the CEO of Asprant at the young age of 25. A staunch advocate of strategic planning, he is passionate about setting clear strategic directions, overseeing seamless operations, and making key decisions that shape the broader business agenda. Representing the company with poise in high-stakes situations, he skillfully manages finances, nurtures talent, and fosters a positive, inclusive company culture. His analytical mindset and forward-thinking approach continually drive innovation, ensuring the organization remains competitive and aligned with its long-term vision.

Mr. Raju Talukdar began his professional journey in 2003 as a Medical Representative with Dr. Reddy’s in Bangalore. Over the years, he has worked across various geographies in Karnataka, West Bengal and the North East developing a deep understanding of regional markets and customer needs. Now, as the Director, he envisions establishing Asprant as a trusted pharmaceutical brand across India. His strategic focus is on creating a PAN India presence that reflects a commitment to quality, innovation, and accessibility.
A dynamic leader and co-founder of Asprant Life Science, Sutapa Chakraborty began her professional journey as a journalist—driven by curiosity and a passion for creating her own identity. Though she stepped away from journalism due to family commitments, her entrepreneurial spirit remained unwavering. Over the years, she engaged in various business ventures, gaining valuable experience and insight. Once her children reached a certain stage of independence, she dedicated herself fully to the growth of Asprant from its very inception. Under her leadership, the company has steadily grown with a strong foundation in values and vision. A firm advocate of meritocracy and inclusivity, she actively promotes talent irrespective of gender and is deeply committed to creating an equitable and empowering workspace for women.
